After 15 years of focussed training at large national law firms, including years at an Am-Law 100 international firm, David C. Uhlig founded Uhlig Transactional to provide expert legal counsel on real estate, corporate and general business matters.
A boutique law firm licensed in Colorado and Arizona, we combine the latest technology with decades of legal experience closing deals and helping businesses grow, to manage our clients’ real estate and business law deals with thoughtful precision and maximum efficiency.
At Uhlig Transactional we’re de-mystifying the practice of law. Doing that requires a two-way understanding between attorney and client. To that end, we work closely with you and develop a thorough understanding of your entire business; where things stand now, your goals for the future and how a given transaction fits into the over-all picture. We aren’t head nodders; We ask questions until we understand exactly what our clients want and need. We then take strategic action to accomplish our clients’ goals. With our guidance deals close, balanced contracts are executed and businesses grow.
After 22 years practicing exclusively as a transactional attorney, I’ve worked on hundreds of deals and have a passion for structuring and shepherding all manner of real estate transactions and business deals through to closing. Be it selling an apartment complex, acquiring a shopping center or working with a team to create complex, mixed use property developments, I have the experience and know-how to help close your deal. In addition to closing hundreds of real estate transactions, over the years I’ve helped business owners and start-ups structure and create companies, buy and sell businesses, deal with employee matters and internal issues, and negotiate and draft all manner of contracts and business documents.
When I’m not practicing law, nothing brings me more happiness than the quiet of nature and I’m grateful to live and work in places with so much of it, so close at hand. Animals, both wild and domesticated, are a passion and few things in life beat time relaxing with my English Bulldogs, Moe and Nugget. My hobbies include photography, writing, economics and investments.
